Sticky Barbecue Chicken Recipe

I love this recipe, because its easily adaptatable for me to make for a husband who truthfully does not like vegatables. I have been adjusting recipes [liquidising vegatables into the gravy for nearly 50 years now to get him to eat any veg other than potatoes, peas & carrots] admittedly he is doing well on it, he is 71, 6ft 2", reasoably fit, & can still fit into his wedding suit. i am the one who is disabled, sick etc.
I sometime struggle to find interesting recipes, & so we often do eat almost separate meals sharing just the meat or fish especially since I eat all vegetables. Thankfully, however we do agree on curry - he loves it, having been introduced to it when we met! So when I find a recipe which does not rely on vegetables - it gets my vote every time !
