Yes, you can use a small or a medium chicken (no greater than 1.5kg). Ensure that the chicken fits in the bag comfortably. Cook at 180°C, (160°C for fan assisted ovens), Gas Mark 4. Adjust the cooking time to approximately 1½ hours for a small chicken and approximately 1 hour 45 minutes and piping hot throughout and juices run clear before serving.
